Technical SEO
Technical SEO covers how search engines crawl, index, and read a website. The work includes site crawling, indexability, page speed, and structured data.
What I do
I check the technical side of a website: crawling, indexing, page speed, and structured data.

Site Crawling
Screaming Frog scans every page and reports status codes, titles, headings, and missing tags. The crawl shows roughly what a search engine sees when it visits the site.
Indexability and Canonicals
Google Search Console shows which pages are indexed and why others are not. Screaming Frog flags pages set to noindex or pointing to a different canonical, so each page has one clear main URL.
Page Speed
PageSpeed Insights measures loading time on mobile and desktop. Large images and heavy scripts are common causes of a slow page.
Robots.txt and llms.txt
The robots.txt file tells crawlers which pages they can visit. The llms.txt file is a newer, proposed file that lists a site’s most useful pages for AI tools.
Broken Links and Crawl Depth
Broken links send visitors and search engines to dead pages. Crawl depth counts the clicks needed to reach a page, and important pages should sit close to the home page.
Schema Markup
Schema is code that tells search engines what a page is about, such as a business, an article, or a person. A testing tool such as Google’s Rich Results Test checks that it is set up correctly.
